Surrey Massage Clinic is owned by Danielle Weaver MFHT who has been practicing as a massage therapist since 2003 and set up in Dorking in 2006.
Danielle Weaver MFHT
Danielle qualified in 2003 with ITEC and further qualified in Deep Tissue Massage, Advanced Myofascial Release, Hot and Cold Stone Massage, Lymphatic Drainage Massage, Indian Head Massage, Reiki and Thai Foot Massage.
Having gained valuable experience working alongside Senior Physiotherapists in her earlier career, she has further trained in manual therapy over the years to create her own style which is tailored to her clients needs. She is passionate about empowering clients to improve their wellbeing and currently studying to be a yoga teacher to be able to offer one-to-one training and rehab in the near future.
Danielle has experience with acute and chronic pain conditions such as sciatica, disc problems and frozen shoulder, amateur and professional sports persons, fibromyalgia and other auto immune disorders to helping those who just want to keep their body functioning well from the stress and strain of daily life.
Jennifer is currently studying her BSc hons in Sports therapy at Nescot after achieved her foundation degree in the same discipline.
Having been a personal trainer since 2010 and more recently committed to Crossfit since 2014. Jennifer has gained an awareness about important strength and flexibility are in everyday life.
She strives to impart this knowledge onto clients and integrates mobility and flexibility exercises into her treatment sessions; so to empower their understanding and impact in daily life and training.
Abby Attwood ACMT
Abby first qualified in 2005 with VTCT in Swedish Massage, and more recently graduated in Advanced Clinical Massage Therapy with the well respected Jing Institute.
She uses a combination of advanced massage techniques such as deep tissue massage, myofascial release, soft tissue release, stretching and trigger point therapy all of which offers effective relief for pain conditions such as back problems, sciatica, herniated disc, frozen shoulder, TMJ pain, sporting injury, headaches, RSI and osteoarthritis.
Abby is also qualified in Indian Head Massage and Accupressure which she can incorporate into her clinical massages.
Zuzana Young ACMT
Having met and studied with Zuzana on the Advanced Myofascial Release course earlier this year, I was more than pleased when she wanted to join our team in Dorking. Zuzana has and still is undergoing extensive training at the well respected and accredited JING Advanced massage college in Brighton, where both Abby and myself have also trained.
Zuzana graduated in Adv. Clinical Massage (ACMT) in June 2016 and is currently studying BTEC Level 6 in Advanced Clinical and Sports Massage.
She is also qualified in Hot Stone fusion Massage (for clinical application), Advanced Myofascial Release and TMJ pain.
As a body worker, Zuzana specialises in treating acute and chronic conditions having built an extensive database of clients. She combines all the advanced massage techniques and her knowledge to tailor an appropriate protocol to help with a variety of conditions.
Elise Peart is a keen sports woman and studied at Plymouth University where she did a foundation degree in Sports Coaching and Therapy in 2004- 2006, then went on to do a top-up degree in Health and Fitness. After graduating in 2007, Elise then carried on her studies at St. Mary's University College in Twickenham where she qualified with ITEC level 3 Diplomas in Holistic Massage in 2008 and then went on to study Sports Massage qualifying in 2009. During this course she did work experience at the Harlequins Rugby Club.
Elise made the decision to pursue a full time career in Massage in December 2012 and has not looked back since, proving to be popular with clients and a valuable member of our team
Tanya is qualified Level 5 BTEC in Sports and Remedial Massage from the well respected London School of Sports Massage. She has worked with Godalming Town Football Club as well as providing pre and post event treatments at running, cycling and triathlon events.
Her passion for making a career of Sports & Remedial massage follows her own active sporting career in rowing and running. It was here that she appreciated the benefit in sport and everyday activities for massage in modern day working and leisure environments.
Tanya is a full member of the Institute of Sport and Remedial Massage
